The emergency medicine physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care during night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating emergency department patients at approximately 5 patients per hour using the EPIC electronic medical record system. The clinician must maintain current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS while coordinating patient care with air and ground transport services for transfers when necessary. Board certification is not required, though the facility seeks either an ABEM physician or a family medicine or internal medicine physician with emergency medicine experience.
