Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Inpatient oncology, IV Therapy/Infusions, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Accessing/Managing Ports, Pain Management, PCA pump management, Oncology exp
Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry oncology exp, prefer experience with sickle cell patients
Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: Every other
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
