Are you passionate about creating delicious meals and making a difference in the lives of seniors? Chefs For Seniors is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook with us, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while providing personalized in-home meal preparation services for seniors. Join us in offering custom meal plans prepared by professional chefs to meet dietary needs and improve quality of life.

At Chefs For Seniors, we believe food is more than nourishment — it’s comfort, 
connection, and independence. Our personal chefs prepare customized meals in clients’ 
homes, helping local seniors enjoy healthy, delicious food while maintaining their 
independence.

We are currently hiring for a part-time position only.
Our chefs primarily work weekday shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If you are 
seeking full-time employment, this role will likely not be the right fit, and we respectfully 
ask that you do not apply.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for flexible weekday income and 
meaningful work in the community.

This role works especially well for:

• Culinary professionals who work nights or weekends and want daytime hours
• Chefs or skilled cooks seeking supplemental or secondary income
• Stay-at-home parents with strong cooking experience looking for flexible weekday 
work
• Experienced cooks who want meaningful work without restaurant hours

No late nights. No 12-hour shifts. No mandatory weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare customized meals in clients’ homes
• Accommodate dietary needs and preferences
• Have knowledge of various diets such as Mediterranean, Vegetarian, MIND, 
Diabetes-Friendly, and Kidney-Friendly
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Provide warm, professional, and dependable service
• Build positive relationships with senior clients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience (or equivalent culinary training)
• Food handler certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Smartphone with data plan
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Genuine interest in working with the senior population
We provide training, uniforms, insurance, equipment, and a consistent client 
schedule.
