Responsibilities - Social Media & Event Coordinator:

  • Work closely with all Department Heads and Marketing Director to market all Harley-Davidson dealership functions and events.
  • Coordinate event details with team members in all departments.
  • Develop plans to drive lead generation and foot traffic with targets, measures and objectives.
  • Execute marketing strategies to inform, advertise, and attract public interest based on clear guidance from the Marketing Director.
  • Monitor comments and interact with the social media community.
  • Capture and edit photos/video for dealership promotions and social media.
  • Handle money at events and attend to customer needs.
  • Assist in building positive relationships between the dealership and the community.
  • Research topics, develop ideas, collaborate with team to that provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage assigned budgets in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Always promote and represent the dealership in a positive, professional way.
  • Maintain proper care and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
  • Supervise the setup and breakdown of all events.

Qualifications - Social Media & Event Coordinator:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience is not required but a major plus!
  • Must be passionate about the Harley-Davidson brand and have an understanding of the motorcycle industry and culture.
  • A self-starting leader and problem solver with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates good time management skills.
  • Communicate details effectively.
  • Always exhibits a professional demeanor with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Can collaborate with a sense of humor and a willingness to accommodate individual needs or changes.
  • Fluent in use of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Adhere to strict organizational guidelines on social media posting while developing and expanding organic reach and engagement.
  • Valid drivers license - a motorcycle endorsement is a plus but not required.
  • Must be hands on and able to work long hours when required.
  • Must have full availability for work schedule including weekends, holidays, and late hours.
