Responsibilities
Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
Provide in-person care.
Collaborate with physicians' other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to foster recovery and resilience.
Support women through all life stages. Potential for working with adolescents.
Practice in a setting that prioritizes time , nuance and sound clinical judgement.
Requirements
Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid licensure in Massachusetts.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and experience prescribing medications for mental health conditions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Experience or strong interest in women's mental health.
Comfort working with adolescents.
2-3 years' experience
