Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), experience working with women and potentially adolescents. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative, patient-centered care that promotes mental well-being and recovery. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy, and other evidence-based interventions.

  • Provide in-person care.

  • Collaborate with physicians' other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.

  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to foster recovery and resilience.

  • Support women through all life stages. Potential for working with adolescents.

  • Practice in a setting that prioritizes time , nuance and sound clinical judgement.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid licensure in Massachusetts.

  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and experience prescribing medications for mental health conditions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

  • Experience or strong interest in women's mental health.

  • Comfort working with adolescents.

  • 2-3 years' experience

  • Commitment to high quality patient centered care.
