• Drive daily OR flow, managing schedules and resources to ensure seamless surgical throughput.
• Mastermind sterile setups and complex equipment prep for a diverse range of high-stakes cases.
• Act as the "right hand" in the scrub role, anticipating needs and maintaining surgical hemostasis.
• Direct precise patient positioning and draping while maintaining rigorous sterile technique.
• Command the sterile field by managing meticulous instrument counts and inventory organization.
• Shape the next generation of techs through active coaching, orientation, and performance leadership.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
