America Powertech Automation Technology (APAT) is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a talented group of professionals.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Manage change orders and submittals
- Collaborate with civil engineers and architects on design specifications
- Assist with estimating, proposals, and project management
- Strong 2D drafting skills utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD or Draftsight
- Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues
- Support superintendents and project manager to ensure contractors are maintain schedule in the field
- Processing of submittals and RFI’s
- Assist in managing project schedule
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Assist with planning and managing site logistics
- Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders
Required Skills:
- Strong background in construction management
- Experience with change orders and submittals
- Knowledge of civil engineering and architectural design
- Ability to manage installation projects
- Experience with long-term disability and specifications
Nice to Have Skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Background in electrical engineering
- Experience with reimbursement and forecasting
- Knowledge of strategy development and quality control
- Skills in procurement and contract negotiation
- Knowledge of drafting and documenting thin film substrates.
- Experienced at 3D modeling software (preferably SolidWorks or Creo)
- Extensive DraftSight or AutoCAD expereince, preferred XREF experience in these tools
- 4 year Engineering, Construction Management or related degree required
- 1 to 3 years of professional and/or related construction internship experience required
- OSHA 30 Hour preferred
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and ability to be self-directed to problem solve issues
- Strong organizational skills applied to Document Control and Close Out
- Strong proactive positive attitude with commitment to Safety
- Able to read blueprints.Company Information:
