Join our dynamic team as a Robotics Engineer where you will play a key role in designing and implementing automated production equipment solutions. You will work collaboratively within an engineering team to understand and modify design requirements for automated systems, providing on-site support to install and mature control systems.
Responsibilities- Provide mechanical design to produce automated production equipment solutions for assembly and installation at production facilities.
- Collaborate within an engineering team to understand and modify design requirements for automated production equipment.
- Offer on-site support to install, system up, and mature control systems for production equipment.
- Create and maintain critical path schedules for work assignments to achieve project milestones for small to medium projects of low to medium complexity.
- Conduct and attend design reviews to ensure design standards are met and specifications are satisfied for deliverables.
- Continuously apply engineering principles to learn new skills, processes, and technologies relevant to manufacturing.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Motosim and Roboguide.
- Experience with PLC and robotics systems.
- Strong mechanical design capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
This position is primarily in-office with travel to various sites across North America. The role requires working approximately 10-15 weekends per year. You will be part of a team that values off-line programming of robotics and typically transitions candidates to permanent roles after a six-month contract period. Team members enjoy the collaborative and supportive nature of the group.
