Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and establish goals. Provide timely and accurate documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses. Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs, emphasizing patient and family education to meet healthcare needs. Initiate discharge planning from admission and prepare patients for safe transitions. Communicate changes in patient status effectively to ensure continuity and safety of care. Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating appropriately and supporting quality outcomes. Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to established safety policies and protocols. Engage in team building to promote a positive, efficient work environment. Monitor supplies and manage resources to deliver cost-effective care. Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned and pursue ongoing professional development. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current valid RN license. Demonstrated competency in nursing assessment, care planning, and patient education. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Commitment to patient and employee safety.
