As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for managing a variety of patient types, including those recovering from surgery. Your strong experience with heparin drips and post-operative care will be essential in ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to med surg and post-operative patients
• Administer medications, including heparin drips, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float across multiple campuses as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Work every 3rd weekend and participate in holiday rotations

Requirements:

• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• Minimum of 24 months of med surg experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Strong heparin and spine care experience required
• At least 3 months of current travel experience within the last 12 months
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Ability to work 4x12 night shifts
