How youll make an impact in this role
  • Inter-Hospital Clinical Support: Serve as the vital clinical thread between St. Teresa, St. Joseph, and St. Francis hospitals, ensuring that ICU-level care remains uninterrupted during critical transitions.
  • Clinical Excellence: Lead the assessment, stabilization, and delivery of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions during the transport window.
  • Collaborative Care: Partner closely with multidisciplinary teams at each site to adjust therapeutic plans in real-time, ensuring a seamless handoff.
  • Operational Leadership: Participate in decision-making processes that sharpen our operational efficiency and enhance patient safety protocols.
  • Meticulous Documentation: Maintain the integrity of the patients clinical narrative through thorough and accurate medical record-keeping.
What minimum requirements youll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification obtained within six months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification specializing in ER Vehicle Operation preferred.
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred.
  • Paramedic preferred.
  • Certified Prehospital Trauma Life Spprt preferred.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-acuity setting (ICU, Emergency Department, or Transport).
