General Superintendent

N. W. Martin & Brothers is looking for a General Superintendent in Commercial Roofing that responsible for daily production of the crews, and works closely with project managers and also assist in some project manager duties. The Superintendent should meet the following qualifications:

1. Familiar with major commercial roof systems such as build up, metal, slate & tile, flat (pvc-tpo-epdm), cold process, shingle, and torched roofs.

2. Manage and schedules crews for the upcoming jobs.

3. Oversee daily operations of roofing crews at the job sites.

4. Effective communication and team interaction skills to ensure all crews are working all the time.

5. Ensure all materials and tools are available for the crews on the job.

6. Order materials based on actual project drawings and or field measurements.

7. Schedule deliveries and resources and works closely with company Project Managers

8. Sketch up metal accessory drawings for shop to make.

9. Ensure that crews are producing according to schedules, and responsible for job progress.

10 Attend to project meetings and assist company estimator with new project estimation to ensure that the estimate schedule and scope cold be implemented on budget and on time.
