Xaymaca Fusion Kitchen is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead our team in delivering authentic Jamaican and Peruvian cuisine in a casual dining setting. As an Executive Chef with us, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, culinary skills, and leadership abilities while working in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Menu planning and development to create unique and flavorful dishes
• Ensuring food quality and consistency in all dishes served
• Managing kitchen operations and overseeing back of house staff
• Controlling food costs and optimizing kitchen efficiency
• Developing and implementing front of house strategies to enhance guest experience

Required Skills:

• Strong culinary arts background with a focus on Peruvian and Jamaican cuisine
• Experience in kitchen and labor cost management
• Proficiency in food preparation and food service management
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
• Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in fine dining and catering
• ServSafe Certified with knowledge of Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP)
• Understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $46,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $60,000.00
• Health Insurance and Dental Insurance benefits
