Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on weekends. Flexible scheduling is available, supporting both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal medical, surgical, and dental care. Responsibilities include preventative medicine, diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and client education. The role encourages collaboration, thoughtful case management, and relationship-based medicine, allowing veterinarians to practice at a high standard while continuing to grow clinically.
Practice Details
This is a full-service small animal hospital equipped with digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities. The practice offers a broad range of services, including wellness and preventative care, soft-tissue surgery, ophthalmic diagnostics, and advanced dental procedures. The environment supports efficient workflows and quality patient care without the pressure of emergency or after-hours cases.
Team
You will be joining a supportive three-doctor team alongside experienced technical and support staff. The culture is family-oriented and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and shared learning. New graduates are welcomed and supported, while experienced veterinarians are given autonomy and opportunities to further develop their interests.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
