Vertiv is looking for a Product Specialist to support the development of global thermal rating tool software. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, working on requirements gathering, feature specification, and collaborating closely with the software development team to design and release new functionalities for internal stakeholders. You will also become a key reference for the tool, providing support and training to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to collect, understand, and prioritize requirements from internal customers, contributing to the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Support the development team during feature implementation and ensure successful delivery of new functionalities to users.
  • Become a tool expert: assist users and deliver training sessions.
  • Be local expert and first point of contact for AMER region.
  • Monitor tool usage, provide reports and KPIs to stakeholders, collect feedback, and turn it into actionable improvements.
  • Validate new features: review, test, and approve implementations before release.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Computer Science, or a related field can be considered as well.
  • 2+ years of experience in thermal engineering preferred; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system operation, component balancing, and system integration.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication tools (MS Teams, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Availability to travel up to 20%
