RRT-NICU - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is preferred with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years level III/IV NICU exp. Teaching Hospital Experience- Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Intubation assist, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral/nasal suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Medication Administration, Nitric Oxide (INo), Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol setup mask, Aerosol setup trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Nebulizer, Cold, Hand held, Heated, T-piece, Trach collar, Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, High frequency oscillator, Neonatal/Pediatrics Equipment/procedures, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, Oscillating ventilator.- SERVO-U ventilator exp

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric Critical Care

Floating Requirements: Floating is a requirement for most positions and a point of emphasis for Nationwide, travelers must be prepared to float to different units depending on the assignment. Travel RTs do float first if need arises
