Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Demonstrates the ability to become knowledgeable of manufacturing and production equipment and reports.
  • Must be knowledgeable of government regulations and specifications.
  • Practices good business etiquette in oral and written communications.
  • Must have knowledge of various fabrication and assembly, including metal machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Knowledge of industry and military specifications for materials, parts, and processes preferred.
  • Must have creativity, innovation, commitment to excellence, and the ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving skills, devotion to quality, and team-building skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3D scanning equipment.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred or any related engineering degree or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline; or High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline.
