TITLE: Site/Civil Engineer / Project Engineer
COMPENSATION: $75,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience) + potential annual bonus

SUMMARY:
A growing professional engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Site Project Engineer / Site Civil Engineer to support land development and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of site development initiatives while gaining exposure to engineering design, permitting processes, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare engineering designs including site layout, grading, and stormwater management systems.
- Assist in the design and coordination of utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control plans, landscaping, and site lighting.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis to support drainage and stormwater design.
- Develop and update site plans, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using design software.
- Support zoning approvals, land development permitting, and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct field inspections and site observations as needed.
- Assist in preparing engineering reports, design calculations, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project managers in maintaining schedules, quality standards, and project deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is preferred.
- Familiarity with site development design, grading, and stormwater management principles.
- Exposure to zoning approvals, permitting processes, or land development projects is a plus.
- Experience with HydroCAD or similar engineering software is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and within a team environment.
