Whisper Homes LLC is seeking a Director of Construction to oversee our projects in Incline Village, NV. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
  • Develop and manage the construction department’s budget, including forecasting project costs and controlling expenses to stay within financial limits.
  • Negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, and contractors, ensuring favorable terms that protect the organization’s interests.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to  maintain alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Utilize BuilderTrend software to track project progress and ensure timely execution
  • Conduct cost estimating and manage architectural design process
  • Implement safety protocols and compliance measures across all construction sites to minimize risks and adhere to  federal, state, and local regulations.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in construction management and project execution
  • Proficiency in BuilderTrend software and other project management tools
  • Strong background in cost estimating and capital projects
  • Knowledge of architectural design and due diligence processes
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

       A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is typically required.

      Nevada Contractor's License

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of general repair, estimating, and specifications
  • Background in real estate, electrical work, and quality control
  • Skills in staffing, strategy development, engineering, and procurement
