Cherry Point Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Kingsport, TN. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you can utilize your skills to provide superior care to our furry friends.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Welcoming clients and their pets with a friendly and compassionate attitude
• Providing client education on preventative care, treatment plans, services and products.
• Using veterinary specific computer program to enter medical history, charges and products.
• Accept and process payments.
• Complete adhoc requests from doctors and other staff.
• Answer phones on a multi-line phone system.
• Manage appointment work flow.
• Much, much more!  

Required Skills:

• Experience in veterinary small animal care is preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills as well as office equipment such as copiers and printers
• Organized, self motivated, reliable, hard working, able to multi-task, flexible in regards to work schedule
• Strong communication skills and a passion for client education

Nice to Have Skills:

• Veterinary experience or at least a pet owner
• Office environment experience
• Customer service experience

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $15.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, we offer health insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, employee pet discount, Profit Sharing and more.
