We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. This position plays a key role in supporting the dentist and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments
  • Take and process dental X-rays
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures
  • Prepare and organize dental materials and equipment
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and stocked
  • Support the dental team to maintain an efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
  • X-ray certification (preferred or required depending on state regulations)
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
