Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures
- Prepare and organize dental materials and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Update and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and stocked
- Support the dental team to maintain an efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
- X-ray certification (preferred or required depending on state regulations)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
