Interim Controller

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring an interim controller on to the team. This person will be directing the functional areas within financial reporting, general accounting, and compliance while coordinating an effective liaison with various areas of operations, FP&A, Tax and shared services. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory and/or internally developed accounting policies and procedures. Overseeing monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.

Estimated pay 80-100/hr

divestiture experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA Required, MBA a plus

10+years' diverse financial experience in various finance / accounting roles; practical experience within an Ecommerce/Retail and B2Bbusiness

2+ years in a Controller position, experience with a divestiture a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Plains or similar ERP systems, knowledge of SQL Server and PowerPivots a plus

Strength of character, with the ability to take clear, decisive action in steering the company's worth and safeguard values

A history of active involvement and success beyond the traditional responsibilities of financial reporting

Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines

Possess agility and can adapt quickly to changing priorities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong work ethic with willingness and ability to dig into details to accomplish tasks and complete projects
