Pay: $1371 - $1652 | Shift: 3x12 nights

As a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Unit, you will play a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of patient care plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in weekly clinical staff meetings and reviewing patient treatment plans
• Providing medication education to patients and families
• Documenting patient emotional and mental observations accurately
• Leading teaching and educational groups as per the APU schedule
• Training LPNs and MHTs in charting, vital signs, and de-escalation techniques
• Being an active member of a PI team or other task force
• Maintaining Therapeutic Options certification
• Serving as a positive role model for patients and employees

Requirements for this role include:

• At least 6 months of psych experience
• De-Escalation training (preferred)
• Certifications: NIH, BLS (AHA)
• State License: Oklahoma
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
