As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a team that provides exceptional care to mothers and their babies. You will work in a unit with 5 L&D beds, 1 OR suite, and 2 triage beds, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care. With a focus on lower-risk obstetrics and a Level I Nursery, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and nursery management.
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Utilize the Obix and Epic EFM systems for patient monitoring
- Participate in unit-specific orientation, including L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section attendance
- Float to med-surg units as needed
- Adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs
- Work evening/night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements
- Maintain required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
