Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to interpret basic telemetry rhythms.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 6th/7th floor: 1:5-6 with support staff, Ratios decreased to 1:3-4 with Primary care/Chemo Admin

Special Requests: Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Holiday rotation

On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: Floating mostly between 6th/7th floor (MS/Oncology) - Floating throughout the facility and to all ThedaCare Facilities within a 60 mile radius as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
