Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Med/Surg, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Isolation Precautions/PPE.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias , Management of dysrhythmias , Tracheostomy care/management*.

Unit/Facility Details: Per Aya standards we need 2 references within 2 years of start but this will not prevent the candidate from starting on time.

Special Requests:

• You must be able to start on the start date specified for this job.

• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of accepting an offer.
• RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month

Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDITORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
