Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:
The Maintenance Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and daily operations of the buildings. This role requires hands-on maintenance work, tenant interaction, and ensuring compliance with local codes.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine building inspections and preventive maintenance.
Address and resolve repair requests promptly (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.). Maintain common areas, hallways, and exterior grounds. Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors. Monitor building systems (HVAC, boilers, elevators, etc.). Respond to emergency calls as needed.
Ensure compliance with building safety and health regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid building superintendent or maintenance license for New Jersey.
• Prior experience in property maintenance or building operations.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry repairs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies after hours when required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
