Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 + years of high acuity Med Surg Tele level or higher. Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass

Skills: MS/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response (Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Unit Telemetry Monitoring), Blood Product Administration, Central/Peripheral/PICC line management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Surgical drains, BiPAP/CPAP management, Nasal Cannula/Oxygen administration, Tracheostomy care, and Feeding tube management

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience, Teaching Hospital Experience

Skills: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV insulin protocols and Titration of Insulin drips, Accessing/Managing Ports, Management of non-titrated Cardiac drips, PCA, specialized Neurological care (Craniotomy, CVA), Oncology (Administration and Monitoring of chemotherapy), Plastics (Mastectomy, Skin grafts), Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Non-invasive airway management, and Isolation Precautions/PPE

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Government issued photo ID.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: (D/N Option available) 13-16 week contract

Weekends - variable based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units including:

BMT

Acute Leukemia

Hematology

Medical Oncology

PCU Oncology

Gynecological Oncology

Urology

Colorectal

Surgical Oncology

Corrections Healthcare

-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
