Full-Time | 3035 Hours per Week | Private, Paperless Practice | Ottawa

Our private dental practice in Ottawa is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit, patient-focused team. This role is ideal for dependable professionals who value long-term stability and want to grow within a practice that genuinely cares about its team and patients.

We are a modern, primarily paperless practice utilizing digital charting and Primescan technology. Youll work in a single, well-run location with a supportive, collaborative team and a strong emphasis on quality care and efficiency.

Schedule

• Full-time, 3035 hours per week
• Some schedule flexibility available

Pay & Benefits

• RDA: Up to $29 per hour, depending on experience
• EFDA: Up to $43 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients with warmth and professionalism
• Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
• Take digital scans using Primescan
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials
• Maintain accurate, paperless clinical records
• Support efficient workflow and team collaboration
• Contribute positively to office culture and patient experience

Qualifications

• Active RDA and/or EFDA certification
• 12 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Strong computer and typing skills
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Reliable, organized, and proactive mindset
