Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years MRI experience; strong candidates with 1.5 years and significant large hospital or Level I trauma experience will be considered
- Proficient with Siemens MRI scanners, specifically 1.5T Siemens Aera models
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Cardiac imaging experience highly desirable
- IV start competency strongly preferred
Location:This position is located in Grove City, OH, near a leading healthcare institution known for its advanced neuro, musculoskeletal, and abdominal MRI imaging capabilities, including specialty exams such as breast and enterography scans. The center operates MRI-safe ventilation and monitoring equipment to safely accommodate ICU patients. The use of EPIC EMR supports streamlined care documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans focusing on neuro, MSK, abdominal, and specialty examinations
- Operate 1.5T Siemens Aera MRI scanners with attention to safety protocols
- Assist with patient care, including IV placement and monitoring during procedures
- Support ICU patient imaging with MRI-safe equipment
- Participate in night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (6:00 pm to 6:30 am), covering every third weekend and assigned holidays
- Provide on-call coverage three weekday day shifts per month and one weekend call every 12 weeks
