What You'll Do as a Technical Security Auditor
Conducts information technology security audits of criminal justice agencies in Ohio in accordance with Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) & LEADS security policies.
Gathers information & documentation necessary to execute security audit procedures and prepares pre-audit & audit documentation.
Assists LEADS staff with the identification, purchase, implementation, configuration & monitoring of technology systems to support Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance.
Independently installs, maintains, configures, upgrades, &/or administers hardware &/or software in assigned single technology domain.
Promotes system security & awareness by adhering to the Agency's &/or State's IT security policy(s) & standards.

Qualifications
Option 1
36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain
Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology (Security Monitoring) specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Option 2
-Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems;
AND 18 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain
Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology (Security Monitoring) specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Option 3
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems;
AND 12 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain
Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology (Security Monitoring) specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
