Structural Welder – MIG & FCAW (Shop Environment)

$23–$27/hr Based on Weld Test | Day Shift | Overtime Available

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our shop team fabricating and welding oil and gas site equipment. This role is primarily shop-based and focuses on MIG and FCAW welding of structural steel components. Pay is $23–$27 per hour, determined by weld test results and experience.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: Available for overtime

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using MIG and FCAW (flux core) processes
• Weld structural steel components for oil and gas field equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Set up and adjust welding machines to proper parameters
• Produce high-quality welds that meet visual and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow shop safety procedures and quality requirements
• Work closely with shop leads and fabrication teams to meet production schedules

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a structural welder in a shop environment
• Strong working knowledge of MIG and FCAW welding
• Ability to pass a shop weld test (pay based on results)
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Compensation

• $23–$27 per hour, based on weld test results
• Overtime available on Fridays
