In an effort to support our community, this position is responsible for developing and overseeing a chapter support model for the over 60 member organizations within the sorority and fraternity community; works with students on educational initiatives, developing community wide leadership and educational programming; provides supervision to student employees, graduate student(s) and the Coordinator of Chapter Services of Student Life Sorority and Fraternity Life. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a college or university or with inter/national fraternity or sorority headquarters. Desired: Masters Degree in student affairs or higher education administration or related field; 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred; experience in supervising professionals in a higher education environment for at least three (3) years; understanding of the North-American Interfraternity Council (NIC), North American Latino/a Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA), National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) groups; experience writing curriculum and assessing specific learning outcomes; experience developing educational programs in alcohol and other drugs, Title IX, and mental health; Ability to work in a positive, energetic, and fast-paced environment, multi-task, resolve conflicts, collaborate, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally; knowledge of inter/national fraternity and sorority policies and procedures, and national trends in fraternities and sororities as it pertains to legal issues and programming; experience in advising students, advising organizations and working with diverse populations; knowledge of leadership theories and organization theories; experience managing budgets for retreats and programs; Strong public speaking and facilitation skills; demonstrated commitment and ability to build relationships; Microsoft Office Skills. Member of inter/national sorority or fraternity; experience writing and designing curriculum for academic courses and teaching courses; experience working with chapters and councils from the North-American Interfraternity Council (NIC), North American Latino/a Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA), National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) groups.
