Job Description

We are in search for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team. This role will play a pivotal role in the quality and testing departments. This role will be full time and hybrid .

What You'll Do

  • Understand business requirements, use cases, and workflows for external Claims Application

  • Perform systems analysis and data validation

  • Create system test cases based on business requirements

  • Execute planned system test cases and verify system behavior in web application and mainframe screens, as well as data in Oracle & DB2 tables

  • Examine and test software to identify, classify, and track defects.

  • Perform smoke testing, regression testing, script writing, automation testing, and full SDLC testing

  • Provide work status updates to QA Test Lead and Project Manager

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test cases aligned with performance, system, and user acceptance testing

  • Coordinate and work with other system testers

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5 years of web application testing integrated with IBM MO Series

  • Ability to review and interpret business requirements, workflows, use cases, scope documents, and technical specifications, and translate them into test procedures

  • Create system test scenarios/scripts Test script writing for web and mainframe applications

  • Systems analysis and data validation

  • All phases of testing

  • Working in multiple environments and multiple applications

  • Knowledge of testing web applications

  • Familiarity with IBM MO Series and DB2

  • Testing web applications integrated with IBM MQ Series using DB2 and Oracle databases

  • Coordinating testing efforts with in-house cross-functional teams

  • Automation testing for web applications

  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks

  • Experience using JIRA

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification required

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$40 - $50 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
