Position: Marketing & Key Account Manager Location: Hybrid Department: Sales/ Marketing Reports to: Sr Account Director _____________________________________________________________________________ JOB SUMMARY The Marketing & Key Account Manager will play a dual role in driving both brand growth and business development. This position is responsible for supporting the Companys marketing objectives through effective market planning, research, and strategic initiatives that strengthen corporate identity and increase brand awareness. The role will collaborate closely with the sales team to create, plan, and execute programs that capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand. The role will also play a key part in the coordination of tradeshows and other industry events. In addition to marketing responsibilities, this role is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with strategically important customers. This role focuses on understanding client needs, driving long-term account growth and innovation, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Key Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for key clients, aligning internal teams to meet customer expectations while supporting the companys broader sales and business objectives. Success in this position requires managing both marketing initiatives and key accounts in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interaction across design, packaging, purchasing, and quality teams. The goal is to exceed customer expectations while ensuring profitability, production efficiency, and long-term customer satisfaction ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Marketing Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to brainstorm, produce, and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Review, edit, and proofread communication content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Plan and coordinate trade shows, including graphics, displays, booth services, freight, and logistics. Manage marketing automation tools for email campaigns, database maintenance, template creation, nurturing activities, and performance tracking. Conduct market research and maintain data on industry trends, competitors, and key customers. Work with subject matter experts to develop content for websites, social media, blogs, and other marketing channels. Assist in creating sales tools, collateral materials, and internal/external newsletters. Coordinate with outside agencies to support marketing, public relations, and media efforts. Sales Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing customer to drive value add and innovation Maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase value propositions. Assist with customer negotiations and ensure alignment with company objectives. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services. Build trust with clients through frequent communication and in-person visits. Collaboration & Reporting Partner with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to deliver customized client solutions. Prepare and analyze reports on sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with team members, departments, agencies, and vendors. General Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Communications, or a related field (preferred). 5 + years of experience in marketing, sales, or account management; B2B and packaging experience required, cosmetics industry experience a plus. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality results and exceptional service. Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts, and best practices, as well as sales processes and techniques. Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing concurrent demands to meet deadlines. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events, both domestically and internationally. Growth-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving business needs. Salary Information The salary range for this role ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 with bonus eligibility. The exact salary depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, candidate residency, etc. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit or walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This job would also require the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift or pull, bend, squat or stand as necessary. Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
