Raymond Storage Concepts is hiring a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklift and material handling equipment at customer sites throughout the Columbus area. You'll be working independently in the field with a company vehicle, while being supported by a strong local service team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new systems, and building a long-term technical career.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and related equipment
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
Accurately document work completed
Communicate with dispatch, parts, and sales teams
Maintain a clean, organized service van and tool inventory
Provide professional, customer-facing service at all times
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience (preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience with mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
Ability to read diagrams and schematics
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Pay & Benefits
$24-$34/hour (based on experience)
Company service vehicle (gas & maintenance included)
3 weeks PTO starting year one
