We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery and Neurology teams.

Job Summary

As a Veterinary Technician at MVH, you’ll play a critical role in supporting veterinarians and providing high-quality care to our patients. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with emergency and critical care cases
• Monitor and care for hospitalized and critical patients
• Perform technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and advocacy at all times
• Collaborate within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Current Veterinary Technician License in the State of Ohio (required)
• Strong interest or experience in emergency/critical care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting

Open Positions & Schedules

Emergency Department

• Sunday – Wednesday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

ICU / Critical Care

• Sunday – Wednesday | 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday| 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Surgery

• Monday, Wednesday- Friday with a Saturday Rotation and 2 mandatory on-call shifts per month

Neurology

• 4 days a week | 7:00am- 5:00pm

Compensation

• Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Shift differential available for 3rd shift and weekends
