Job Summary:?
Utilize extensive Mastercam programming experience to develop efficient CNC programs for mill and lathe operations.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, You Will:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and Mastercam programming within an aerospace and defense contract manufacturing environment
• Candidates with strong programming skills and a basic understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 are encouraged to apply; support and training on the quality management system will be provided
• Develop efficient CNC programs using Mastercam for mill and lathe applications
• Interpret and apply GD&T to support accurate machining and inspection
• Create, update, and maintain detailed work instructions and shop-floor documentation
• Develop processing plans and quality assurance plans for assigned product lines
• Investigate nonconformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement by optimizing CAM programs, work instructions, and tooling and work holding methods
• Apply strong knowledge of programming, tooling selection, and machining processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate directly with machinists to improve manufacturability
• Support advanced quality planning activities and new job quoting efforts
• Gain experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Fagor control systems
• Assume ownership of the AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management system over time
• Monitor and report quality, schedule, and cost performance metrics
• Communicate effectively with machinists, support staff, and leadership
• Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Skills/Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in Mastercam programming, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance within an AS9100 or other accredited environments
• Proven hands-on expertise in Mastercam programming
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to problem-solving
• Experience with Catia is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a minimum of five years of related experience, or at least ten years of experience in a similar technical role without a degree
