Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership

• Review existing MVC-based applications to identify modernization and migration requirements.
• Define and recommend application architecture patterns and technical standards appropriate for the enterprise environment.
• Translate functional requirements from business analysts into robust technical designs.
• Communicate technical recommendations, progress, and risks clearly to project leadership.

Hands-on Development

• Lead the development of .NET applications, REST APIs, and GraphQL services.
• Design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, indexes, and complex queries.
• Ensure best practices in data access patterns using Entity Framework.
• Maintain and support development workflows using GitHub Enterprise.

Execution & Mentorship

• Break down technical work into milestones, deliverables, and specific development tasks.
• Provide accurate development estimates to support project planning.
• Perform code reviews and mentor other developers to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Take full ownership of existing codebases to stabilize and improve production applications.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional .NET development experience.
• Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in C#, .NET, and Entity Framework.
• Web Services: Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and using GraphQL.
• Database: Advanced SQL Server skills (stored procedures, performance indexing).
• Tools: Proven experience with GitHub Enterprise.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading development teams and mentoring junior/mid-level staff.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy MVC applications.
• Familiarity with modern front-end stacks: React, Vite, and NodeJS.
• Experience stabilizing applications within active production environments.
• Background in the Public Sector or supporting financial, tax, or property-related systems.
