10 plus years of automotive industry experience including design engineering, production, product development, customer relations, negotiation, and quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership across Sales - New Model Development, Price Planning, Design, and Quality Assurance to ensure full departmental functionality and alignment with company objectives.
• Direct and support team members in the execution of daily responsibilities and long?term initiatives.
• Establish, communicate, and measure performance expectations to ensure accountability and achievement of goals.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities through new methods, processes, and operational enhancements.
• Develop strategic plans and creative concepts that drive growth in Design and Sales - New Model Development while meeting budget targets.
• Maximize operating profit by optimizing design efficiency, sales pricing, cost of production, quality, and manufacturing methods.
• Oversee customer account management to maintain strong relationships, secure contracts and amendments, and build a cohesive customer?focused team.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
• 10 plus years of automotive industry experience including design engineering, production, product development, customer relations, negotiation, and quality assurance.
• 10 years of leadership experience in manager or senior manager roles.
• Experience applying regulations and customer specifications in new product development environments.
• Demonstrated negotiation capability with OEM and Tier?1 customers.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain long?term relationships.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing and managing budgets and financial performance.
• Ability to interpret product drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with laboratory testing and experimentation in support of new model development.
• Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Salary Range:

$130K-$140K
