Associate Attorney - General Counsel to School Districts

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced (2+ years) attorney position at Guercio & Guercio, LLP located in Farmingdale, NY. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and assisting with active cases in administrative proceedings, state court, and federal court, including impartial hearings, student suspension hearings, and  appeals. Special education experience is a plus. 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal research
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
• Experience with education law 

Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
