Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication. Journalism, public relations, or a related field AND experience in an educational setting.
- Two to three years of experience in an educational setting (administrator, teacher, etc.).
- Outreach experience within a college or educational setting
- The ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with social media and web-based communication platforms.
- Strong computer skills utilizing the following programs: Microsoft Office, Adobe, Canva, social media management tools, Google, and Survey Monkey.
- Must be able to think creatively and innovatively.
- Demonstrated success in designing, composing, editing, and distributing blog articles, press releases, forms, and other communication vehicles.
- Must be able to handle confidential matters, prioritize work assignments, conduct research, and manage projects.
- Documentation of a clear criminal record in compliance with state statute.
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules and Board policies.
Note: This assignment will require a valid driver's license and access/availability of a reliable vehicle. Employees must meet all prerequisites and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the Center's insurance carrier.

Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Job Objectives:
To enhance the Center's recruiting efforts by generating leads, building relationships with colleges and educational agencies, and managing the Center's recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

- Produce concise, well-written, and visually interesting materials that meet the needs of internal and external audiences.
- Manage the recruitment efforts for the Center
- Develop and execute strategies to improve ESC recognition in the communities in which we serve.
- Create strong networks to funnel in potential candidates
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, employment agencies, and community resources.
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting candidates, and using newsgroups and job sites.
- Attend various career fairs to bring in new potential employees
- Work with the communications department to build a strong social media recruiting campaign.
- Monitor and provide material for the Center's social media accounts.
- Assist with the creation of content for the Center's website.
- Meet regularly with the management team members to ascertain their needs, offer suggestions, and deliver requested information.
- Make professional, public presentations on an as-needed basis.
- Perform other specific job-related duties as directed by the Superintendent or their designee.
Performance Evaluations:
Job performance is evaluated according to the policy provisions adopted by the Governing Board of the EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER OF CENTRAL OHIO.
Conduct:
