Job Description:

his Personal Property Tax Analyst position is a role in which the primary responsibilities would entail preparation of property tax returns utilizing software, spreadsheets, rate tables, systems and customized reporting; review and analysis of property tax assessment notices to minimize taxes and audit risk; and prepare tax bills for payment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file annual personal property tax returns for various entities across the firm

Analyze and submit associated personal property tax bills for payment

Review and analyze asset listings and lien date transaction data to ensure that assets are properly classified

File protests with the taxing jurisdiction as needed

Research, analyze and resolve general ledger account reconciliations

Ensure that all activities are completed prior to state imposed deadlines

Extract Property tax data from legacy systems utilizing ad hoc reporting tools

Analyze Property tax data from legacy systems to identify issues and trends
