Chief Structural Engineer

As the Chief Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for all structural engineering by doing calculation and or checking design calculations prepared by others.You will also be required to prepare design layouts and sometimes complete drawings. Calculations willl be prepared using existing spreadsheets as well STADD calculation program. Drawings will be prepared using AutoCad normally 2D but occasionally 3D,

You will interface closely with othere engineers and designers on various projects. Checking and signing off on structural design drawings calculation for all projects undertaken by our organization. If required, structural drawings will be PE stamped by the Chief Structural Engineer with an Oho license.  Occasionall drawings will need to be PE stamped with stamps from other states or provinces. It will be the engineers responsibility to obtain PE license for locations outside Ohio. The cost for other license will be paid for by our organization..

Knowledge of large bulk material handling conveyor designs is a pluss but not an absolute.

Engineering will report direct to the Engineering Manager
