The ED Charge Nurse will oversee a team of nurses and support staff, coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the Emergency Department .
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and timely patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide immediate and comprehensive care.
Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing any staff concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing
State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
Minimum One year of nursing experience REQUIRED
