Our client, a leading organization in the automotive tools and solutions industry, is seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented Franchise POS Conversion Specialist to join their team. As a Franchise POS Conversion Specialist, you will be an integral part of the support team, ensuring seamless transition and support for POS systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to technical support, aligning successfully within a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
Job Title: Franchise POS Conversion Specialist
Location: Dublin, Ohio
Pay Rate: $32/hr.
Job Type: 3-month Temporary Contract
Schedule: 2 Options : 1st shift (8:00a 4:30p) and 2nd shift (12:30p 9:00p).; in-person training will be 1st shift hours
What's the Job?
- Coordinate and schedule POS system conversions for designated users, ensuring adherence to project timelines and protocols.
- Assist users through the step-by-step process of POS system conversion, providing clear guidance and support.
- Conduct testing of software releases, perform regression testing, and support staff training on new features and updates.
- Manage data conversion activities, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of information from legacy systems to new POS platforms.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, training materials, and release notes, to support ongoing system improvements.
What's Needed?
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in helpdesk, technical support, or POS system roles, with a focus on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to deliver end-user training and support in a technical environment.
- Experience with data conversion, migration, or ETL processes, especially in retail or POS settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
