North Hills Animal Hospital in Laguna Hills, CA is looking for a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Come join us in our new, state-of the art small animal hospital, complete with 6 exam rooms, a separate surgical and dental suite and more! As a full-service veterinary hospital, we pride ourselves on offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for pets, as well as urgent care with a focus on personalized and compassionate service. We are open 7 days a week to ensure our patients can receive care any day of the week with their own care team!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform medical examinations and diagnose illnesses
• Develop treatment plans and communicate them to pet owners
• Perform surgical procedures, including dental prophylaxis and orthopedic surgery
• Utilize digital radiography for diagnostic purposes; ultrasound skills encouraged!
• Provide preventive care, including vaccine administration and parasite control
• Accomodate walk-in appointments for both non-urgent and urgent sick patients

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
• Experience in small animal care
• Fear Free Certified
• Proficiency in digital radiography and dental radiography
• Knowledge of preventive care and anesthesia and routine surgical procedures in dogs and cats

Nice to Have Skills:

• Exotics experience - we see avian patients though they are not required to be seen by associates!

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $120,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $150,000.00
