Department/Unit Summary Supervises and coordinates daily staff activities for an assigned area, leading employees who perform similar work by setting priorities, scheduling, and reviewing tasks without authority over hiring, termination, or pay decisions. Provides guidance, training, coaching, and mentoring; assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions; and ensures adequate staffing levels and service quality. Ensures staff compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and healthcare regulatory requirements (including HIPAA), applies business office standards and recommended practices, and supports staff development. Performs staff duties as needed to meet service demands, leads the resolution of complex issues and complaints, maintains regular and reliable attendance, and handles sensitive and confidential information while serving both internal and external stakeholders.
