Position: Systems Architect
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid (50%)
Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $71.43/hr.

Job Summary
Billing and Collection System
In-house developed web application for Billing and Collection with functionalities to process cash, refund, journal entries, non-payment cancellations and reinstatements. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those from PayGo (Pay-as-You-Go) and IVANS Exchange Projects

iNB (Integrated New Business) System
In-house developed web application for the processing of WC quote. It consists of the following modules - QuoteSys, iNB Search and iNB Main programs. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements of Autoquote processing, Straight Through Processing and Section 93 Search.

iPAM (Integrated Policy Administration and Maintenance) System
In-house developed web application for the administration and maintenance of a WC policy record during its life cycle. It consists of the following main modules - Declaration, Entity, Location, Endorsement, Broker, Change of Interest, Contacts, Cancellation and Reinstatement, and Report. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those from PayGo and IVANS Exchange projects.

Job Description
The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:

• Develop Oracle stored procedure, packages, and triggers
• Develop batch application using .NET, oracle
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
• Communicate software requirements to app dev team members
• Develop software with modern web development frameworks

The consultant will adhere to NYSIF's application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.

Job Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy administration and maintenance for Workers' Compensation Insurance
• 7 years of experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy billing and collection for Workers' Compensation and Disability Insurance
• 7 years of experience in development, support and implementation of software related to quote processing following the guidelines for Workers' Compensation Insurance
• 7 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL utilizing Packages, Types, Objects, Triggers and Advanced Queuing
• 7 years of experience as a .Net application developer - TFS/Azure DevOps, Visual Studio with Visual Studio 2019 or newer
• 7 years of experience with web browser application development using JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, JSON, HTML and AJAX
• 3 years of experience with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)
