A Brief Overview

The Senior SCCM Engineer will be a senior member of the Digital Workplace Team and will be responsible for advanced end user deployment configurations and support. They will focus on the design, deployment and management of the SCCM infrastructure, creating software deployment packages/updates and applying best practices for Safelite's end user.

What you will do:

• Design, deploy, and manage SCCM (system center configuration manager) infrastructure

• Researches and applies best practice solutions for Safelites end user computing environments including but not limited to areas of automation and elimination of manual desktop processes

• Create and manage software deployment packages and updates

• Build, maintain, and support a base image for workstations including but not limited to OS, drivers and software packages utilized by all business partners.

• Provides periodical desktop, software, and peripheral support by performing troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution without supervision

• Perform regular maintenance and updates to SCCM environments

• Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM-related issues and provide timely resolutions

• Generate and analyze reports on SCCM performance and compliance

• Develop and implement SCCM policies, procedures and best practices

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree or relevant experience Required

• 4-6 years proven experience as an SCCM engineer Required

• Experience in MECM and Qualys tools Required

• SCCM certification Required

• Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment. Demonstrated team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the organization (High proficiency)

• Demonstrated ability to define problems, draw valid conclusions and make decisions requiring the use of judgment (Low proficiency)

• Ability to administer and manage both server and client end points using Microsoft MECM (High proficiency)

• Proficiency with Apple hardware, both MacBooks and iPads (Low proficiency)

• Ability to administer JAMF Pro Cloud Server for the management and deployment of applications to all Apple devices (Low proficiency)

• Experience provisioning and supporting virtual desktops (Low proficiency)

• Ability to administer and troubleshoot Microsoft workplace applications (High proficiency)

• Basic understanding of certificates and certificates issued by authorities (High proficiency)

• Familiarity with ITSM systems like ServiceNow or others (Low proficiency)

• A solid understanding of PowerShell, SQL, and other basic scripting and query languages (High proficiency)

• Certifications (A+, Network+, Server+, AWS/Azure) (Medium proficiency)

Expected Work Location (In Office) : It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235).
